A music T-shirt is a good place to start an outfit because it already says something about you. It might be the sound you grew up with, the track you always come back to or the scene you are still discovering. The rest of the look does not have to compete.
Let the graphic lead

If you want a quieter outfit, go for one of the smaller graphics. If you want a statement, make the print the centre of it. There is no requirement to dress like everyone else who likes the same music.
Build a small rotation
