Retro inspiration does not have to mean recreating a whole decade. It can be a shape, a colour combination or a memory of something you loved. A chrome BMX frame, a bold magazine headline or the worn print on an old shirt can be enough to start a new idea.
The BMX Days tee takes the bicycle itself as the focal point. Black linework on white keeps the graphic direct, while a small flash of yellow brings it back into the Oddbeat palette.

Let the graphic lead
Start with one strong printed piece and give it room. Our I Love Drum & Bass tee has cream lettering, a red heart and a little yellow detail on a black background. Dark denim, simple trainers and a plain outer layer leave the artwork to do the talking.
You can pick up one colour from the print elsewhere in your outfit, but you do not need to match everything. A worn-in jacket or your usual pair of shoes will often feel more natural than a complete new outfit.
Take it into the evening
A graphic tee under an open overshirt is an easy change of pace. Keep the overshirt unbuttoned so the print stays visible, and choose trousers with a shape you enjoy wearing. Straight-leg denim, wider workwear trousers and a simple black pair all give a different feel.
